First Bell Celebration at the Ukrainian Heritage School

Photo: Vira Pryshliak

On Saturday, September 6, 2025, the Ukrainian Heritage School celebrated the start of the new school year with its traditional First Bell ceremony. Students, parents, teachers and guests gathered to welcome another year of learning together.

The program opened with formal greetings and performances by our first graders, who recited poems. The atmosphere was full of sincerity, pride and love for the Ukrainian language, and guests could feel the true spirit of unity in our community.

A sweet surprise for the children was ice cream, kindly donated by the Ukrainian Federal Credit Union (UKRFCU). It added a special mood to the celebration and brought smiles to everyone.

We sincerely thank our students, teachers, parents and guests for the warm atmosphere and active participation. We wish our whole school family inspiration, joy and success in the new school year!
